mozila firefox plugin for windows

our company is looking to develope a mozila firefox plugin that will serve as an installer for our application.

The plug in basically responsiblle for 2 major issues:

1. installing the software and updates from our server

2. lunching an exe once installed

We have already developed a functional running Activex for the IE, all the core code for the installer and updated exist in this project and will need a simple translation from vb6 to c, an issue we can assist.

The major issue is to find an experiace programmer in developing plugins to Firefox, as well as to approve that it will be possible to write files to the hurd-drive using this plug in as well as shell execute an exe from the plug in.

the project should not be a complicated issue for the programmer with the right skills.
