Hello. I've been in website development for 4+ years and I have been through both ways of writing the code. From my experience the template-based method is much more effective because you have less code but the same functionality and changing core features becomes much easier. I know how painful it is to try to change something general in the site and have to edit it in 10+ different files. That's how bugs happen. I've been through this process a lot of times and it's like trying to cut through a jungle and organize it, but I've always been a fighter for good code to be written, and that's why I'm applying for this job.
