Graphic Design (Logo, Color, Typeface) for a Non-Profit Art Gallery Website

We are looking for an outstanding designer to work with a code developer to create an imaginative, user friendly and easy to maintain website. Design is paramount, as the site has to display photographic artwork images in an elegant and understated manner (see for example [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] ) Tasks include, at minimum: 1. Master design decisions, including color scheme, typeface, size, etc. 2. Logo and menu design 3. Design of three prototypes of pages: a. Homepage b. Text page ??" “about us??, “artist bio??, etc. c. Image page ??" a page that display images using AutoViewer Pro. The collections will be displayed linearly, rather than in a "gallery" [login to view URL] set up a demo at [login to view URL] York. 4. Creation of a simple Photoshop macro (template) for preparing images for upload We do not expect the designer or the coder to write text or otherwise create content. All of the relevant text, images, and other content will be provided by us. If you choose to submit a mock-up with your bid, please understand that as per industry standards submission of mock-ups is NOT paid and you must WAIVE any intellectual property claims. Nevertheless, the mock-ups are part of your bid and we will consider them when making a decision. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform As per instructions from web developer
