Hi ,I have gone through the requirement . There are 3 alternate ways of developing this application: 1 - Developing Native apps for Apple and Android - This will be time consuming and more expensive approach to follow. Also Native iOS app will not open on MAX OS. 2 - Cross Platform development - Using Cross Platform frameworks like PhoneGap which will use common code base and hence will take less time so will be less expensive than Native apps. However , it still will not support MAX OS browser. 3 - Developing Mobile Web app - Using HTML5 we can develop a mobile web application which work on all the three platforms you mentioned i.e. it will work on iPhone/iPad , work on all Android devices (be it mobile or tablet) and will work on Safari browser of MAX OS. Cost wise this most popular choice these days for developing Utility applications.
