Hi! I'm writing to express my interest to work as a freelance math tutor online. I have been working with both college and school students in teaching them Vedic Maths. Background. Imagine you have a problem, x (square) - 1 = 15. The conventional way of solving this problem is: add one to both sides. you get x(square) - 1 + 1 = 15 + 1; -1 and +1 cancel each other. We get x2 = 16 square root of x2 is +/- 4. This was done in three or four steps. students are taught logical and systematic step by step method. it takes time and MOST IMPORTANTLY, BRAIN BECOMES DULL. The creator of Vedic Maths wanted the problem to be solved in the mind! Fast. Take the equation again. -1 from the left side is taken to the right to get +1. 15+1 = 16 and the square root is + or - 4. in less than 5 seconds the answer is there. The idea would be to make your kid think and think and think. Additions and subtractions and divisions and multiplication should be done fast and in the mind. there is no digit wise calculation.
