Your Responsibilities
As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, setting up Magento 1x and 2x sites, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.
Develop and maintain e-commerce web applications build with Magento
Develop and integrate business solutions involving eCommerce and 3rd party integrations for Payment processing
Customize core and third-party modules to accomplish defined business requirements.
Participate in the definition of functional and technical requirements of applications.
Participate in the design and architecture of applications with the Magneto Architect and technical leads
Unit Test application to assure accuracy, integrity, and interoperability to achieve specified functionality.
Prepare documentation for outlining logic, code, and implementation of application.
Perform site releases and site updates for clients.
Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content & collaboration solutions and present architectural decisions to stakeholders
Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used Work with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality
Meet technical and business expectations, with supporting technical documentations Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, UX, etc. Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments
Your Skills & Experience 3-6 years of overall experience in Web Application Development with
& other PHP Frameworks
PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, LAMP development/coding
Familiar with MVC design pattern
Good working knowledge of MySQL / SQL Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries ( jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.), and CSS pre-processing platforms (SASS) Experience with Code Repositories (SVN, CVS, GIT, or Mercurial)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Be able to work independently and accept responsibility for projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferable: Magento Certified Developer / Lead
