This project is two fold for a new Christian Women's magazine being prepared to launch in June of 2006 named Ish-Shaw (Phoenetical spelling of ish-shah)Magazine. As a new publication our max budget for the logo is $30. The second part is for the layout of the magazine. This is a project which you will do quarterly starting in June of 2006. The project is for 2006. It is a quarterly publication, which will be sent to a publisher so we will need PDF format and supply us with a high-quality PDF and the source files. Each quarter the editor will supply you with text files and you will need to create a publication with the files sent. The editor will tell you how many pages the magazine must be and when she sends the files, and you must create an issue with that number of pages. It's obviously quite easy to stretch it if need be, but you will likely have more material than needed for the amount of pages required. We do not have a supply graphics so we are looking for someone that would have access to ones that are appropriate and befitting to the article. For our printer, they would need to be in 300dpi or better image converted to CMYK. The exception will be when it comes to the cover, other times we will look to you. This magazine is desired to be fresh, new and inviting to our readers so we do want it to have a very professional look and feel, with a great sense of style to it. The great part of this project is that you have a great deal of creative freedom, within certain limits. The project requires that you are able to create the publication (an average of 28 pages) in one week of receipt of the text, which will be available May 15th and, and the publication must be ready by 4:00 PM EST on the 22nd of the month. You must have a Broadband Internet connection to bid on this project and we will not consider anyone who does not have this. The first issue will publish at the beginning of June 2006 and you must also be available to start the next issue by August 14th, 2006 and follow the same schedule in November. You MUST be able to show us your work, and be willing to create a 10 page sample publication in 12 hours as proof of your ability, so if you do not wish to produce a sample as described, please don't bother to bid. There is no pay for creating the sample there is nothing for us to gain from having you do it, except to be sure you are capable. Please note we count double-spreads as single pages. This will develop to a long-term project into 2007 for the right person. Please place your bid for producing the publication every quarter, and you will be paid the same amount. You will also be asked to create promos for the magazine as required. The maximum budget for this project is $150 per month and 1/2 page ad in exchange for quality service. You will be paid on the 15th of every month for the preceding month. If these terms are not acceptable to you, please don't bother to bid as we NEVER change our terms of business. Your bid on this project is your explicit acceptance of these terms.
