Joomla 3 multilanguage help

This is the problem I'm having with turning a Joomla website into multilanguage: I followed this manual: [login to view URL] It kind of worked because It does change the language of the homepage content when I click the flags. I created two Homepages via Components->Simple Page Builder: Home Spanish and Home English. They look the same but they actually do change. Please check the attached images to see the difference. The main issue is that the menu showing is still the default menu! I even unpublished the module that contains the default mainmenu. The position for the Menu is called 'OffCanvas' So, by default the English menu should show, and when I hit Spanish Flag, the Spanish Menu should appear. (To test, each menu only have two menu options each) There is something I'm missing but I cannot find it. I spent many hours during the weekend following the tutorial and I don't think I'm missing anything. See if your Joomla skills can help me with this. It may be matter of un-publishing something.
