Writing a google sheets script to lock/protect rows based on value on another cell v2

Hi, I have an expense report table that employees put their expenses. Employees have full read/write permission only to Column A,B,C,D,E,F and managers have full permission to the entire table. I need a script that once a manager puts "approved" status on column H, the corresponding rows on column A,B,C,D,E,F should be locked for editing. In order to edit the approved cells, manager needs to change the "approved" status. You can see the sample sheet here: [login to view URL] Can anybody help me on this? Note: The freelancer should install the "working" script on the sample sheet that I have provided to get final approval. Please also note that "data validation" method do not work, since I do not want to see the validation errors (red triangles) Thanks in advance,
