1. Struts

It is one of the most famous and powerful open source web frameworks. It handles the presentation and control layer of the application.

2. Spring

The most popular IoC framework, which takes care of dependency injection, transaction management, etc. The business classes and action classes will be managed by it.

3. Hibernate

It is used for business object persistence in database. This is a very stable open source project. Using hibernate offers portability of the application to any relation database.

4. Dozer

Dozer is a java bean to java bean mapper that recursively copy property value from one object to another.

5. CXF

CXF is a complete ws framework, which has a good level of integration with spring. With a simple spring configuration, it is easy to define a ws client and inject it as any other service. It is also easy to expose any spring services as a ws, to be accessed remotely.

Mule ESB is a lightweight JAVA-based enterprise service bus (enterprise service bus (ESB)) and integration platform. It can be simple and quick to connect to applications so that the applications can exchange data. Mule ESB can easily integrate existing systems, no matter what technology they are using, including JMS, Web Services, JDBC, HTTP, and so on.

We use it to integrate with CXF webservice to make server connect with each other.
