I could do this for you with Python and imaplib. I would be using django to serve the RESTful API and multiple sessions won't be a problem. (It wouldn't be restful otherwise, right?) We need to discuss the exact scope of the proof of concept. As I understand it, you want the following calls: 1) connect 2) iterate over messages 3) Download body 4) download attachments. Gmail support IMAP, which can be used to download all the emails and iterate them using a C# program. Can be saved in the database 1 row per email ,so besides this requirement, we can generate other information as well if needed. Will save only the needed columns for now, but can save content as well if you desire. Please check PM for my work samples.

Hello, I'd be glad to write this for you! I recently wrote a similar script with PHP and IMAP functions that parses emails into an internal support ticketing system, so I'm very familiar with this sort of parsing. If you would prefer it to be a desktop app, I could use Java instead.
