Hi! I've come across your project and I have things to say. Firstly, I must say that the existing java OCR libraries work with text which is not written by hand. I think it is rather difficult for such a library to recognize hand-written text, even if that text contains only digits. Secondly, the libraries I worked with required a defined area on the input( top-left corner, width, height) and then processed that area. Are digits written in such area, or they can be found everywhere inside the picture. Could you provide a sample image? Looking forward to hearing from you!
