Studio Photographer - LGBT Apparel Company

gc2b Transitional Apparel ([login to view URL]) is an LGBT apparel company based in Hyattsville, MD seeking a photographer with commercial experience. A qualified candidate will be able to create eye-catching photographs, with engaging composition, and with a focus on product photography and product features for a photoshoot in the DMV area. A qualified candidate should be prepared to: Handle shoot from start to finish (provide direction to models, lighting, etc) Respectfully work with LGBT models and ensure everyone feels comfortable Take standalone commercial product shots Maintain image quality, framing, and work comfortably with making setting adjustments on camera Develop photoshoot image library Review all assets/make appropriate adjustments, ensuring the proper color grading, image focus and visual hierarchy Have or provide an editor that can deliver editorial-level edits to models and garments Minimum qualifications: Photo Editing: 1 year; knowledge of design and photo editing software including Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Light Room and Photoshop. Advanced knowledge of DSLR cameras. Preferred qualifications: Photography: 3+ years Product photography: 2 years Graphic design: 1-2 years
