I'm starting a handcrafted soap company. Company name is Dewfall Soap Company. The words that describe my soaps are clean, simple, fresh, and moisturizing. I use herbs and all natural ingredients to color my soaps, some of which I raise in my garden. One of the key ingredients in my soap is tallow which is made from fat we render ourselves. Soap packaging is simple with brown kraft paper cigar bands and jute twine. I've found that handmade soap is soothing to the skin and much less drying than commercially made soaps. In particular, what I'd like to play up in the branding is the moisturizing and freshness aspect, which is one of the reasons I chose "Dewfall" which to me is symbolic of a daily renewal, freshness, and moisture. The colors scheme I have in mind is blues and greens, but open to suggestions. I've attached a mock-up of a logo design we were playing around with. Logo will be used on my website, e-mail/online newsletter, and printed materials (business cards, signage, etc).
