Data Simplification

Freelancer Job Brief: Data Simplification This job involves simplifying large amounts of data that is in an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheets contain information that includes blood pressure and activity. We wish to cull the blood pressure data readings for five minutes before and after various activity scores for specific time periods. In some instances we wish to cull the readings five minutes before and after an activity score reading of 350, and in other instances we wish to cull the readings five minutes before and after an activity score reading of 500. We would need the flexibility to enter in what the activity score was. We also require the data to be culled for certain time periods. For example, in a spreadsheet containing weeks of data, we might be interested in data collected between 9am and 11am or 4pm and 8pm etc. on specific dates. Then within some of these time periods, we would be interested in culling the data according to activity score. We would like the culled data output to include: • Columns of the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate and pulse pressure data remaining after culling • A table listing the average systolic blood pressure and the average diastolic blood pressure, the range of systolic and diastolic blood pressures for the period of data A small data sample is attached as an example.
