Hi, My suggestion is to use MS Access 2010 as both front end as well as back. Hello I am an Excel VBA expert, as well as PHP and MySQL. As I understand your requirements, you need an Excel Forms dialog/workbook to capture data and to periodically upload the workbook contents to an Access database on your local network. This scenario is fairly easy to set up, although an approach where you use a web-based page to capture and store directly to a MySql database will probably be easier for you to maintain in the long run. The upside is that the Excel/Access route will be quicker and cheaper to get up and running. Going the web access route will capture the data straight to your database and won't require periodic uploads. The choice is yours. hi it can be done through website if you have internet on your lan. then each system can share same data which is centerlized. but you have to purchase domain and space for this on server to online the site. i will developed such type of application for you. in that application you can upload data through form, update it as well and i will also provide the control access with login and password that only user which has login and password will update the data in your application. please accept my bid if you like to built such type of application thanks

Hi, I am a full time programmer who make an Access project Database combined with SQL Server. I am also linking it with excel so i can make forms which read and write to the database from Excel. My Advice is to made it with Excel and not with Word. There are two posssibilities. One is to use the sheet for the form and the other is to use user forms. I find the sheet sometimes better for design and it can me combined with Formulas. Please contact me if you have questions, i am new here so my rating is still low, but in the area access and excel i have a lot of experience, because i am managing a project for the last 4 years.

At first glance my bid may seem high, but to fully implement what you are looking to accomplish I believe would take more than what you have planned for, especially if you are determined to store in an Access database. It would be possible to use Visual Basic in an Excel form to create a CSV file and send it to, or save it on a network drive. Perhaps there could be some more Visual Basic, or a scheduled task, which would run an import from that CSV into your Access database. That is a way to make it work, but it is not the easiest solution. That is how I would facilitate your request. For my efforts to make that happen I could not charge less than $100. Not completely sure, what you are asking for here. You basically just want a form to enter data in, so that Access can read it, right? Access can import from Excel files, so all you need to do is save your data consistently. Which a form will help to do. With a save button on the form, you can save your data in a new document, which you can import from Access. Quite simple stuff if I've understood what you want to do. Hope to hear from you.
