We need assistance improving an existing delphi application with scrolling text... Some detail: A TLabel descendant (usual public access to Caption and font properties) Smooth text scrolling, using MultimediaTimer (default TTimer will NOT work) Running in separate thread Must scroll transparently Public scroll enable property Public scroll increment property (default 1 pixel) Public scroll speed property Event to notify each text pixel movement Event to notify end of scroll It is tempting to create this in a different language but it is not preferred. We have found labels previously but the result was jittery (especially when the text was longer. a min of 150 characters would be preferred). Another limitation was that it just scrolled once and didn't indicate when the scroll was finished (plus a few other limitations). Hoping to find a solution. Regards
