Hi, We are a B2B platform helping buyers find the right suppliers. As part of populating our platform with credible supplier listings, we are looking for data entry professionals to scrape data and send it in excel file. Nature of Work: a. PDF files that have the supplier company name and country will be given to you. b. You need to make an excel sheet with columns - company name, country, email ID and website URL. First two columns shall be taken from the PDF file given to you. c. To find email ID and website URL: i. Open the Google search engine, type the company name and country. ii. Look for website address of the supplier. iii. The Google search results may give you with listing details of the supplier in directories like yellow pages, thomasnet, etc. and B2B marketplaces/platforms like [login to view URL], etc. Do not take these details into consideration and look only for the supplier's own website. iv. Open the supplier's own website and take the email address. If you can't find an email address, please add the URL of the page where contact form is present. v. Look only the first three pages of Google search results. If you can't find the supplier's own website in the first 3 pages of Google, mention as N/A for that particular supplier. Search well before putting N/A. On perusal, if N/A records are found to have a website, you will be required to rework them again before payment is made. Note: You will not be paid for the records that do not have supplier's own website URL. vi. Some companies may be listed under a group of companies. For example, Anowara Fashions Ltd., Bangladesh is one of the companies under Anowara group. Hence the URL is [login to view URL] vii. If more than one email ID is present, all email IDs are to be listed viii. No part payments will be released. Only upon completion of 500 records, the payment will be released. Budget: US $9.00 (INR 675) for data of 500 suppliers. Freelancers who can't match the budget need not bid. (Literally, we have thousands of supplier data to be scraped. A list of 500 suppliers will be given initially.) It's a continuous ongoing project work. A sample is herewith attached.
