C++ unit testing, parallel programming and possible refactoring.

We have a C++ code written already by a scientist. We want to make it more reliable and professional. We need to do following things: Add unit tests Independent code instances are run parallel in bash using background processes. Transfer that to C++ itself. example scripts: [login to view URL] If MPI is the only option that is good too. Not sure multi-trending will work here. This code will be used on a computer cluster and also on Mac laptops. Give suggestions on refactoring to make it look more readable. (This is probably going to be out of scope now but that is going to be next step we are interested in.) This will require changing inputs to Json format. suggest better design for the project. (Suggest refactoring OO design)
