Game security vulnerabilities remediation and code optimization (C++)

Project budget: up to 650 USD. Expected time spent on the project: 10-20 hours. Description: We are looking for a highly qualified C++ developer to analyse and remediate a list of currently known vulnerabilities within our game project. The game project consists of five sub-projects: game and engine, backend (4 executable projects). As a developer, you will need to go through a list of our issues, which could be very vaguely formulated, understand them and fix them. In addition to that, we expect you to quickly browse through the code and provide us with feedback as to what could be improved and how. By the end of the project, given that we are satisfied with your work, we might either offer you a bonus or additional projects with similar pay. We expect you to be proficient in C++ programming language, have a background experience in memory management and client-server communication. Being able to work with a debugger is an essential skill. We prefer to be updated daily on the progress so that we are aware of what is happening and could potentially amend the deadlines if required. This project requires Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2019, and Microsoft SQL Server (optional/ advised) – you can either set up your own local server using our projects or connect to our remote database.
