We come from Italy and we develop a websoftware that is a CMS for hospital laboratories.
Now we need to talk with a specific instrument (Beckman Coulter LH500).
This instrument talk only by the RS232 with a proprietary protocol.
We need a software (any language) that communicate on RS232 port with a specific protocol (that is described in the PDF - some log in attachment too).
This sofwtare get information and set information by XML files.
Our websoftware make a request in XML and put the XML in a specific folder.
The new program take the XML, translate the request using the proprietary protocol, wait for reply and make a new XML with the response.
