This sounds fun! I've had half a dozen recipes of my own published over the years, and am working on a series of cookbooks right based on my last two years living in France. In fact, I have some really interesting French, Italian, and Spanish infusion recipes that caught my eye, but that I probably won't use in those cookbooks (or if I do, it would be a slightly different version). I love coming up with new flavors and new ideas, and my mind is already buzzing with possibilities.
And for the ones that don't immediately come to mind, I'll source them and rewrite them - I'm very good at doing research, and extremely good at reworking text. With my culinary background, you can be assured that even a changed recipe will still work, though I won't be testing any of the recipes (unless I just can't resist).
I've used several royalty-free photo sources before for other publishing jobs, so I know how that works, and that photo credit is generally given. If I use my own photos, would I be credited for those? Not for the recipes themselves - those belong to the site - but for the photos.
I'm also interested in speaking about long-term projects. I'm currently living in the UK but will be traveling to Norway, Hungary, Serbia, Italy, and France (again) over the next eight months, and I always look for new - to me - traditions in food and drink. I'll definitely have an internet connection everywhere, so will be almost always available for work.
