Do you have experience with the Arduino Vidor FPGA board? Could you write code that uses the FPGA in this board to perform high speed parallel text processing of strings passed to the board via serial? Please let me know if you are interested. I have attached a screenshot, This is the ultimate goal, but I am hoping to first find out what is possible (and what is pragmatic). Another way of looking at things is to say: “I would like to use FPGA to accelerate grep searches.”

Hi, I have worked with altera devices e.g BeMicro MAX10 and Socrates Cyclone 5. I can get arduino vidor too. Do you already have an algorithm to use for pattern matching for strings? or algorithm selection and implementation has to be done too? Is Vidor MCU/SAMD21 and FPGA data transmission available? (txt file transmission or raw data to FPGA block ram) Looking forward to discuss in detail. Thanks
