Dear Sir I can make that project for you. Also my bid and time for that project can be smaller, that depends of type of lock (i.e., type of a motor) which you need to use. But in my opinion, the usage of the light conditions is not perfect way for that task (if only you not want to open the door when lighting is good, but in ANY time when it's occured) I would propose to use real-time clock board for Arduino. In any case, write me and I can make both code and list of materials for both variants. Hi, I'm an electronics engineer with 15+ years experience, mainly in embedded hardware/firmware development. For your specific project, I'm thinking of using an arduino uno, a standard motor shield, some end-switches for motor/mechanics end of course signaling and the light sensor maybe a simple LDR connected to an analog input in arduino and some sort of calibration procedure do distinguish from night/day thresholds. This bid is for the full arduino sketch/libraries source code and some simple drawing and/or notes of the additional components used and what connects to where in the arduino and overall circuit. For such a simple project you need an arduino uno a light-dependent resistor and a stepper motor. You will be able to adjust the amount of light needed to open the door and close in the sketch provided so you get the results you need. I can provide links to the components. I need to know the size/weight of the door as well.
