Water Effect - Flash - ActionScript 2

REFER TO: "Where's My Water" game available in Android/iOS I am creating an animated presentation for a friend.. It has indefinite number of $s falling in to a funnel where the explode and break into pieces. The crushing effect (breaking apart) is achieved using a script found here ([login to view URL]). This script is manually called when the $s hit the funnel. I tried hitTest but could not get it to work. After the $s break apart, they have to turn into liquid and start filling up the pipe. 1. Must convert the crushed bits to liquid 2. Fill up the pipe and move towards a tap 3. Change colors from green to blue (to imply water getting cleaner) 4. Must have good fluid feel as it moves/fills up the pipe (similar or close to Where's My Water) In the scenario, we do not know how many $s will drop since it has a loop.. Thereby we have to quantify the water based on the number of $s that hit the funnel and break apart. The whole thing will have to be dynamic using AS2. Check attached JPEG for a better idea.
