DVR PROTOCOL IN VEHICULAR AD-HOC NETWORK USING PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUE

In this project we will propose an improved distance vector routing (IDVR) algorithm and parameter selection method (which draws motivation from Swarm Intelligence) to improve throughput, data delivery ratio and to reduce connection establishment time and routing overhead. Also we will discuss the traffic density mathematically using poison distribution to demonstrate the fractional associations in vehicle to vehicle communication. The results will show that our protocol will perform better than the existing protocol (DVR) with respect to PDR, transmission delay and reduce the control overhead messages in alternating network connectivity.
