Hi everyone, basically I need someone who is highly proficient in using Ansys Fluent software to help me out. My university project requires me to create a simulation of how sneeze particles from a passenger flows in a pressurized aircraft cabin. I tried looking through several YouTube videos but I am still unable to create the simulation. Hence, all I require is for someone who is well versed in computational fluid dynamics to create a simple step by step guide on how to perform the simulation of sneeze particles in Ansys Fluent. The reason why I am seeking such assistance is due to the fact that I am too occupied with other subjects. Therefore, I am unable to attend any training courses on using Ansys Fluent. On a final note, please take up this project only if you are really familiar with Ansys. If not, it may cost me my grades. If you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to message me. For solving we need to identify the location of the air-condition (flow velocity direction inside the cabin ) and the sneezing particles size. Once you reply we can discuss more. Objective :-Fluent Analysis Software – ANSYS FLUENT/ANYS-CFX/STARCCM+ Expecting Inputs: Boundary conditions, CAD file, expecting output and any reference documents. Approach:- Stage I:- Capturing the requirement and preparing the report. Stage II:- Particle Deposition approach need to be used to solve this problem. Stage III: I will analysis using any one of the commercial software which gives perfect results in short time. Stage IV:- Final Delivery with all native files, Teach you step by step process by video capturing. Hi, I have over 15 years of experience using Ansys Fluent for CFD simulation. Based on your project description, i might be better to compute cabin flow-field using stead-state RANS method. Then using particle tracking method in Fluent to study the distribution of the particles when releasing from certain spots inside cabin. I run most of my CFD cases on cluster and I can run your baseline case for you quickly. Do you have mesh already completed and boundary condition setting already created? Hi there, I have been doing CFD consulting since 1998 and have been using Ansys Fluent exclusively for the past 16 years. Your project sounds very interesting, but I would need to have a much clearer understanding of what your objectives are. There are several aspects to the problem which could turn this from a 3 day CFD project into a 6 month CFD project. In principle, setting up the particle part of the simulation if fairly easy, but the level of detail and size of the domain would affect the time required to perform this analysis. Whether this is at undergraduate or postgraduate level would also be important to know. I hope it works out well for you. regards hp

This problem will be solved by multiple species transport. I have already done this type of project and if the problem is given to me, I will solve it as soon as possible.

Hello, I am Aerospace Engineer and I have been working as a research assistant in a Multi flow and Thermal Spray laboratory running large Ansys Fluent simulations. The problem you are trying to solve is quite complicate. But I think it can be solved imposing some specific assumptions. I would need to see the boundary conditions first. Also sprays simulations are quite expensive in terms of computational time, so part of the cost to solve the problem will be just the computer running. Notes. - If I see that I can't solve the problem I would tell you right ahead. - Be careful about Ansys version. There are issues between versions so ensure you ask for someone with the same. - Accuracy of the simulation will be determined by the size of the cabin and size of the mesh. I would discuss that with you in case you need any specific result to compare with something else. - I will be in contact with you during the process.
