Copy and paste articles from one website into a WordPress CMS

The objective of this project is to copy the content of a quarterly publication from one site into the WordPress CMS of the new site. The original publication is divided into quarterly issues, four of which make up a volume. There are 87 volumes that need to be copied over. Each issue is made up of components (articles within that issue). The publication starts in 1923 and continues to the present day. Content has been entered for the years 2010-2016, so this project is to copy and paste over the years 1923-2009. You will need to enter the components for 259 individual issues of the publication, 87 volumes (years) worth of publications. There are between 2-13 components for each issue, before 1990 there are usually 6 components or less so the process will speed up as you work back to 1929. As we entered the content for the volumes between 2010-2016, it usually took about 15 min. per issue. This would be a lot faster for the older volumes that have less components.
