c# sharepoint com object

this project involves creating a com object in c# that does the following:

1.) Given a document library, list, or folder, return the content types for that give object.

2.) Given a document, list item, or folder item , assign a content type to the object using above information. The method will pass in the correctly formatted xml for the update of the content type in sharepoint.

Please note, we are not creating new content types, we are assigning content types and metadata to records (a document in a document library or folder, or a list item).

I use [login to view URL]'s sharepoint integrator and would like you to do the same. You can develop indefinately with the trial edition. It is easy to use.

I can provide you access to a sharepoint instance if you do not have one.
