Creation of a gross Profit monitoring system for a restaurant

In the restaurant we use a self made spread sheet for the managing of food and beverage invoices that get calulated against the sales to give us a Gross Percentage. We require a desktop application that will easily manage this task in a simple easy to use way that will be accesable over secure internet connection. Within a secure area our manager would log in and enter all the invoices for the day and the takings for food and beverage. They would not have any access to the figures only to edit entries if needed. We would then have a 'back end' if you like so we could view anywhere in the world with our laptop/computer with an internet connection. Our back end would require reporting functionality and full editing of all entries. We would need to be able to set a start date and an end date and the system calculate the GP within this date range. The excel spread sheet will give you all the formulas for the calculations you need. There may be the odd chage here and their during programing but in essence you should have all you require. Please be aware that we are not totally literate in prograhming whilst we have done this type of thing before, if you address any questions as simply as possible explaining any 'technical terms' we will be able to understand a lot easier!
