Our company is looking for a professional, perfectionnist in heart and artist designer to create a beautiful and eye catching app icon for our iphone and ipad app. * Conditions for applicants: - you must show excellent design skills and your past work samples must demonstrate this. - you must attach your work samples here on Vworker for app icons you designed. No links. ## Deliverables * Name of the app: Birthday Calendar (this name is not final though) * App function: It helps remind your friends and relatives birthdays * App features: - import birthdays from Facebook - import birthdays from your iphone/ipad/ipod touch contact - add birthdays manually - message your friends using custom messages with one click and wish them happy birthdays - post to your Facebook friends wall to wish them happy birthdays - customizable reminder setting to receive birthday notification straight to your phone - choose the time of the day and set remaining days before birthdays to receive notifications - no ads - see upcoming birthdays * Elements to be considered: - color: take inspiration from gift wrapper color. Color should be bright and warm. - 3D looking like instagram logo. It must attract user eye and be differentiated from other installed app on user device. It may include a calendar but it is not mandatory. We will let the designer propose and choose what is best - in addition that it's a birthday reminder calendar, icon should convey a message that it's also a social app since it allows to import birthdays from Facebook and share happy birthdays in Facebook walls. That is a very important aspect that needs to be considered. - examples of app names related to birthday calendars are: mycalendar mobile, birthday, birthdays, birthday wall. ***Warning: these apps have ugly icons so we juste gave you that list of apps so you can download it and see its features and take inspiration from it and not from their app icons*** * Technical requirements: - icon format should be vector based - icon should be optimized for both iphone and ipad, including retina display - what we want to communicate with the logo: happy birthday, gifts, happy moment, love, best wishes, I think of you, I remember your birthday...etc. - the design phase consists of 7 iterations of concept sketches that you will submit to us in order to find the correct graphic metaphor. Once a concept is choosen, you will create the final logo and optimize it for each icon size (total of 10) and which are (1024, 512, 144, 114, 100, 72, 58, 57, 50, 29 px). In the process of designing the final logo, worker must agree to make up to 5 revisions if necessary until it's perfect and according to our specifications. * Additional information: - communication between you and our company will be handled only through Vworker message system - we would need to view your portfolio and/or sampling of your previous work in order to make sure you can actually handle this job for us. - please be specific in your reply as generic responses will likely not get an answer back from us If we are satisfied with the price and quality of the design, we will choose you for app screen shots and app graphic designs for our projects in the future.
