AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) Example (OSCAR)

What I need done: I need to have an example application created which demonstrates the more basic features of AOL Instant Messenger in VB using MS Winsock. If you are interested in the exact feature list, I will send this at your request. I am looking to have this completed using the OSCAR protocol (not TOC - the older protocol standard). The example should be an emulation of AIM 5.5 or higher (preferably the most recent). It should be coded in Visual BASIC 6 code. In addition to the example, I would like to have a detailed break down of protocol procedures, so I could learn packet structuring, and anything else to further expand the functionality of the software. I am also willing to pay for *extended personal support and advice* over an instant messenger of your choice, to address other questions or concerns that may arise as I learn, understand, and master the protocol. Specific expertise that I am seeking: I'm looking for an individual with extensive experience working with MS Winsock, and Visual BASIC 6. You should already know (or be able to learn fairly quickly) the OSCAR protocol. Knowledge of the more recent OSCAR protocol standards is not required but is a plus. *I will provide protocol documentation if you need to learn.* I will request some assistance in understanding this existing documentation. A willingness to create a long lasting relationship for support and projects is a definite plus. Timeframe for delivery: I need to have this specific project up and running within 2 to 3 weeks. Relationship: I am looking to create a long lasting relationship with the winning bidder.
