I would like to have an application made that can help in processing computers and laptops more quickly and be able to report what kind of computers and attributes I have at hand. a. At my warehouses we try to sort similar computers by make type and speed. We typically make pallets of 50 computers to a pallet. Below is what a pallet of computers look like. i. b. I would like to be able to quickly process computers and laptops as they come in. I would like this application to be able to send certain product into my magento eccomerce sotre with the collected attributes. I am thinking the best way is to look at the list of available inventory, and check a box and a filed for pricing that will tell it to sync to magento . c. I would like the process to be as follows. i. Boot computer to obtain an audit to the sql database software ii. Scan the computer serial into the software application then assign it to a location. iii. Have the software application query the sql audit and print a small label obtaining the main attributes of the computer iv. Place the label on the computer and place it in either a location # or back on the pallet. v. Once I am satisfied that the pallet of computers is ready to be wrapped, I would like to be able to print a mast manifest that will outline what is exactly on the pallet. d. Possible Issues i. We have to be able to remove equipment that sells from inventory 1. One way may be to query if the system has sold in my erp system. Ideally everything will be inventoried into my erp system, but it will not have all the detailed attribute info as in the SQL audit. ii. I will need the functionality where I can scan the master barcode of a completed or incomplete pallet and be able to remove a computer to resell. 3. eBay benefit a. Maybe we can make it where we can export certain systems with the attributes and comments right in to blackthorne where they can be listed quickly without my sales team having to manually handle each item. b. Possible integration where we can take a picture of a unique item and add it to the database so when it is exported to blackthorne it attaches properly. 4. Create a quick order a. I would like to have the functionality where we can grab any number of computers and scan the serial number of the system and have it generate a order list with the barcode of each system. b. I would then be able to go to IQR and either manually add it to IQR and then create an order to sell the computers. 5. Reporting Functionality a. I would like to be able to query reports for customers that request what computers I have in stock, or what pallets are ready to go. It would be good to easily search by attribute of the computer. For example all dell computers. Or all computers with speeds 1500mhz or faster.
