I am looking for someone to develop a clone of mysports dot tv technology
The way the technology works is it takes videos of a marathon race from various points on the course. The cameras are placed at the same points as the timers split times eg 10km, 20km, 30km, finish. At the end of the race the results are provided by the timing team with the split and finish times for each runner.
A runner is then able to go online, type in his name or number and see the video clip of himself at each split and the finish. The video shows 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the running passing each split marker. The technology that I require is for someone to develop an application which will query each video to produce a 20 second clip for each camera. These clips are converted to flv and played together
So to summarise I am looking for someone with experience of writing programs which query a video segment.
I do not want any time wasters. Only reply if you have experience of working on similar technology in the past.
Hello,
we are a company focused on developing custom-made software solutions.
We have a great experience in working with videos.
The project you describe can be realized using FFMPEG and a good custom-made software for management the segments. It can be fully automated or support manual setting of the sequence.
This project sounds very interesting for you. We are very keen to work with you on this one.
I am happy to discuss the suggested technology further, if you have questions. If you want we can provide some kind of sample (if you give send us the sample videos and some specification on how they should be sequenced).
Really very keen to work on this project.
Regards
Peter Long
