These are two tasks requiring the use of AutoCAD Solidworks 3D modelling and 3ds Max. THE DEADLINES FOR EACH TASK ARE FOR 6TH AUGUST 2011 AT 4.00pm GMT. The tasks are as follows:
TASK 1: SolidWorks Ex 5
Aim:
To demonstrate competence in the use of a high range CAD system.
Learning objectives:
To use a high-end CAD system to:
1. produce 3-Dimensional models from the given 2D drawings.
2. use the embedded facilities to refine the models.
3. produce a 3D model comprising several parts.
4. demonstrate use of the system.
Exercise:
Using the SolidWorks software package produce a 3D Solid model of the assembly shown. You should model the individual parts and the assembly.
The dimensions of each part will be given in the attached files.
TASK 2
3DSMax Ex 4
Aim:
To demonstrate competence in the use of a non-engineering biased 3D modelling, rendering and animation package.
Learning objectives:
To use a 3D modelling and rendering system to:
1. Produce a 3-Dimensional model of the given object.
2. use the embedded facilities to refine the model.
3. produce a 3D model having associated material.
4. produce a scene having appropriate lighting.
5. produce a scene with simple view animation.
Exercise:
Construct a scene comprising a simple, circular standard lamp and shade placed in a room. The room scene should also contain a table. You may make the lamp any size or shape and place it anywhere in the room, however you do need to include sufficient detail to make the model appear realistic. The standard lamp body and its shade should be made from “lathed” profiles. You should also assign materials to the table and lamp. Default lighting may be used but lighting showing the scene to its best effect is preferred.
The scene should also have a camera that is to be used to view the scene. The camera should be animated to show the lamp and table from various angles and without exposing any missing parts of the background.
You may enhance the scene by including more detail, other models and model animation if you wish but it should not detract from the display of the room.
Your scene should be saved as a 3DSMax scene such that it can be opened on the University’s version of the software.
FULL DETAILS ARE LISTED WITHIN THE 2 DOCUMENTS ATTACHED. PLEASE READ THESE VERY CAREFULLY AND ABIDE BY THE REQUIREMENTS.
Hello, I am a mechanical engineer with more that 8 years of exp using SW. I have covered almost all of CSWP /Certified Solid Works Professional/ exams. My bid is only for SW task. I can not work with 3dsmax. If You want until tomorrow will the assembly done, I will use SW 2011.
Best regards
