I have a Sparc server with a Solaris 10 primary domain on it. I have another sparc server that runs solaris 9 I want to copy the solaris 9 server on the new server with the tool ldmp2v and host it on a domain. I have run ldmp2v collect successfully I need to run ldmp2v prepare and ldmp2v convert and to make sure the copied server is running.

Hey, This should be no problem. Do you have any existing zones on your Solaris 10 box? Do you have enough resources on the destination server? (mem, hard drive space, cpu cycles, etc?) By "host on a domain" I assume you want a separate sol9 zone with the content of your current physical machine. Cheers, Vladimir
