Amazon Cloud Drive Backend for S3QL

From the S3QL Website: S3QL is a file system that stores all its data online using storage services like Google Storage, Amazon S3, or OpenStack. S3QL effectively provides a hard disk of dynamic, infinite capacity that can be accessed from any computer with internet access.

The primary developer of S3QL is not interested in providing an Amazon Cloud Drive (ACD) backend, however they are open to accepting a patch if someone can get it working. Alas, I am not a specialist in Python, AWS or RESTful API's, so I can't unable to provide the code... but for someone who knows these APIs, I don't believe it would be difficult to extend the abstract backend and provide the appropriate connections to the ACD.

Specifically, I'm looking for an S3QL backend which is capable of loading an storage URL of the form: acd://path/to/dir, wherein the backend files will be stored in the "path/to/dir" directory on the amazon cloud drive.
