Access Database - Forms/Emails

I would like to create an Access database (already have a base product) that can be updated via Microsoft Exchange Email - but with a more attractive form then their standard email product. =>In which version you would like to created your database (MS-Access 2003 or 2007 or onwards)? Front end and back end should be separate or combined? 2. The database would need to send emails out if there was a deadline and update if there was no activity on the account for a few days. =>Let me know it should automatically send the email (using CDO or Mapi object) or we should provide outlook form to send email? If we are using Outlook form to send email then we cannot update the “Email Sent date” and “Email Subject” in Quote Customers / Customers table. We cannot get subject if user updated while sending. If we are using CDO object then we need to set the SMTP Server name, port, SMTP Authenticate, User name, Password, SSL etc. We can update the Email Send date and “Email Subject” after email sends successfully. It is better to use CDO object to send email, while sending email we will not get any security error. They are not sending

You need to do this in SQL Server, not Access. You'll have a million less headaches and can do anything you want. MSSQL is Access' "big brother". I can do all of this but I'm not making a "better form", for that you'll need to send me the HTML you want. It's a preference thing.
