I wish to bid for this "Add extra functionality to existing MS Access 2007 databases" project as I believe I possess the necessary skills, attributes and enthusiasm for such a project. Whilst I am new to Freelancer.com I am not new to applications development or MS Access.
Equipped with an accounting degree I have 15+ years experience with MS Access, VBA, SQL Server and building interfaces from Access/SQL Server to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle and JD Edwards) in various industries for both large and small enterprises.
My relevant skills and experience include (but are not limited to):-
- 10+ years with MS Access (each version since 2.0) developing user interfaces, reports, queries and VBA code.
- 10+ years experience in the engineering and construction sectors with vast experience with Project Controls (Primavera, MS Project and bespoke business applications interfaces), earned/remaining hours etc.
- 10+ years experience with SQL Server designing, building, modifying and supporting databases, interfaces and enterprise reporting solutions. Experienced with database normalisation, writing and debugging T-SQL, views, stored procedures and triggers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to explain matters in simple terms.
- Ability to work in a team or alone, self motivated, ready to hit the ground running and available immediately.
