Identify the competencies for the Cloud and software technical pre-sales professional. Understand what top Cloud and software leaders are doing to attract computer science graduates, early in career and senior professionals. This is an independent report for our training company to understand better the needs of the technical Cloud computing based pre-sales professional. We will use it to better tailor and adapt our work for this audience. Objective: To research necessary primary and secondary data sources to provide a series of findings and conclusions around the Cloud technical sales professional of the future 1. Identify the profile of the tech sales professional for Cloud and software in 2 years time 2. Research what top players like Amazon, Google, VMWare, Softlayer, Redhat, Virtella, IBM hiring and how do some of them consistently attract top talent? 3. Propose ideas around how a technology company should we develop people 4. Identify what type of background should a tech company be hiring against. What background should they have e.g. colleges and early career experience? The report need to thoroughly address these questions so would be in powerpoint or maybe word. Approx 3000 words. The researcher would probably need to interview professors and executives in Silicon Valley and London. Looking for someone who has strong business research and ideally technology research experience who understands the trends in cloud computing and software. Otherwise it would take a long time to get someone up to speed.
