Export to excel file is not problem, I'm already author of some "Working with xls files in Python" tutorials. Thanks!

This is a simple enough program to build with either python or bash. Do you want this to run in a graphical interface (GUI) or from command line? To get the details out that you need I would require a sample doc to build the template from. Can you also confirm the format you want the final file? I assume xlsx but there are multiple excel formats (xlsx is the latest format).

I've worked with sevceral automation of procceses that use txt and xlsx files. Actually I just finished one in python and another in C#. The advantage of python is that it is a lot faster, the disadvantage is that you need to install the needed libraries and python in the machine that will be running it.

I will create python script. and most importantly is YOU DON'T REQUIRE TO INSTALL PYTHON ON YOUR COMPUTER. but you must have to give fix file name to convert it and output file will have filename as your input file.
