Android/iPhone App Consulting

I am in the beginning stages of formulating an outline and direction of an Android/iPhone application to be connected with a website/database. I do not anticipate the application to be overly complex, but I am unsure of how to proceed most effectively. I’m in need of consulting services to assist in cost effective plan formulation. More specifically I am in need of advice regarding the best approach and options to software type and usage, how to structure/configure the platforms (website, database, and phone app), approximate costs of development, scalability, SEO, data acquisition, and timeline (i.e., approximate time for development of each component). As this is a planning phase, specific information regarding programming will not be necessary. A broad level approach that can be realistically converted to a tangible project is the goal. Deliverables would include flow charts and lists/tables for planning purposes. Effective communication and timely responses to my requests are a must. Interested parties should be well versed in Android/iPhone application development, interconnections between phone applications and websites/databases, search engine optimization, data acquisition and parsing (RSS fees, etc.), and have an understanding of costs and time involved in phone applications, website applications, and database development. If I choose to move forward with the development of the application after the consulting phase, the selected consultant will likely be given priority status for future development work. ## Deliverables At this point, I'm just looking for some guidance as how best to approach my application.
