I'm a photo retoucher that has become very busy and need some help with some of the basic tasks of my job.
This particular job is for basic retouching of one of my clients' headshots.
You will receive several layered files that will require the following:
- Layer Skin: on its layer mask, paint with a 30% white brush over any areas with skin, an extra pass/es might be required on wrinkly areas (under eyes, neck lines).
- Cleaning layer: remove flying hairs using the spot healing brush, unless it's marked as white background in which case this will go away nearly automatically when converting the background to pure white (I'll share my method with you). Check clothes for hairs and other specks that might need to be removed. This is the only retouching needed.
- Teeth layer: on its layer mask paint with a 100% white brush over the teeth if they're showing.
- Eyes layer: on its layer mask paint with a 30% white brush over the entire eyes, then a couple more passes over the pupils.
- Face lit later: on its layer mask pain with a 50% white brush over the whole face, neck and any other skin shown on the photo, then a couple of more passes just on the face.
I've made a video showing how I do this whole process myself. In the video it takes me an hour to do 10 images, while talking about what's needed and the best and most efficient ways to do this. In normal conditions I can do over 20 images per hour.
My budget is a maximum of €0.80 per image. No special retouching skills are necessary, anyone with Photoshop CS6 or above can do this. However you need to be consistent and reliable. This will be a weekly job, sent around 10am London time on Tuesdays and expected back within 24 hours. You'll be getting between 20-30 images per week. I use Dropbox for file transfers and Paypal for payments.
If I'm happy with your work I'll be increasing the jobs sent every week.
