Creating a dynamic chart using Laszlo & Fusion Chart to create an SWF (070) We need a dynamic chart created by: 1 Constructing an LZX file to be compiled to an SWF file using Laszlo 2 Using a data ‘cube’ described in a special XML dialect (XtabML). An example similar to what is required is included in the zip file ([login to view URL]) together with similar source data ([login to view URL]). The source data is held in a dialect of XML (XtabML ??" see [login to view URL] ).see [login to view URL] for a fuller explanation of Fusion Charts which must be used to realise the graphical elements. There is a bug in the example that is explained later. Those bidding for this project need to be thoroughly familiar with Laszlo and be willing to learn how to use Fusion Charts for the graphical parts. Any program code should be fully documented and meaningful names given to all variables. The data source ([login to view URL]) should be used as far as possible for all the content on the chart. All text content not present in the XtabML must be clearly identified in your .lzx source file. The aim is that the LZX together with the XtabML file(s) should be a template for producing over 500 of the SWFs where only the data is different. You should supply an LZX that we can compile with Laszlo to a bug free SWF using the standard Fusion Charts SWFs. The source code for a chart conceptually similar to this one can be sent separately to any person interested in bidding who gives an NDA undertaking. A bonus of $50 will be paid if a Print button is added and this can be used generally in other Laszlo projects, e.g. a ‘printButton’ class. Take note of the discussion of accessing Flash print features in Laszlo in the discussion group thread including [login to view URL]
