Apple Core

I am looking to have an experienced, creative coder create an interactive website. The site will allow users to post comments directly on a posted art picture.

In order to explain, I will use a picture of an apple as an example. The envisioned site will display the apple, with a grey hue over it, divided into a grid of "spots". The user will run their cursor over a chosen spot which will open up a comment box. After entering in their comments, the user will be prompted to enter in their payment option to reserve the spot for a preset period of time. Comments can vary and include written comments, spoken words, sounds or a short video. Once posted, the user can alert friends of their comments automatically by a blast email to all contacts from their address book. The received email will have an embedded link leading directly to the apple with their spot highlighted. Comments will be identified as either positive or negative by the authoring users.

Subsequent users will be able to view the art piece as a full picture with the "taken" "spots" displayed as very small images or "blemishes" on the full picture of the art piece. Negative comments will be displayed on the full picture (in this apple example) as a blemish or brown spot. Positive comments will be displayed as clear bright red apple skin.

Subsequent users will be able to use the search function to search the site by specific words, phrases, comments, titles of comments or authors of the comments by an automatically updated search function.

Alternatively, users who post comments will be provided the numerical coordinates of their "spot" which will identify the exact location of the "spot" which can also be plugged into the search function to locate the "spot". The site needs to have a powerful administration area that is completely user friendly and simple enough that a novice computer person can use.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

"LAMP". Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP or Python.

Needs to display and run properly in all major browsers including FireFox, Opera, Safari, Netscape, Internet Explorer 6 and higher, 2.0 versions of Firefox, Linux.... Needs to be fully index-able by search engines
