C# eCommerce website

The delivered solution will capture and manage customers, products, orders and purchase transaction details. It will interface with a 3rd party payment gateway (provider & account details on request) and will need to cater for protected downloadable content (documents, PDFs, xls files) The shop must support: searchable categorised products Image upload (with auto re-sizing) Shopping cart My Account showing shoppers history and allowing them to update their details etc. Due to tight deadline (2 weeks), it would be a big advantage if you have already built similar solutions which can be demonstrated to me. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ADDITIONAL: **Technologies and Implementation Strategy** To ensure compatibility, we must be consulted throughout the development and implementation stages of this project. Contact details will be provided. **Coding** The IT systems are Microsoft technology based. The website must be developed using the .Net 2.0 framework, specifically C# with MS SQL 2005 database(s). **Testing** A prototype and testing site must be made available via a URL at an early stage of the development (within first week). **Hosting** The final product will be hosted on our own web server. The server is Intel based running MS Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6. **Maintenance** Ownership upon delivery and further maintenance and development of the site are out of scope for this requirement. **Reporting** Standard registration and transaction reports are required and must be built into the solution. **SE Optimisation** The website must be optimised for all popular search engines. Optimisation prerequisites (including keywords) must be built into the site structure. Verification of excellent search engine ranking of the site must be demonstrated prior to acceptance of deliverables. Such verification should be made using Industry Standard tools. **Timescales** The project must be completed and delivered within 2 weeks with appropriate consideration given to the time needed for testing. **Compliance** The site must be built to the W3C-A Content Accessibility Guidelines and conform to the Disability Discrimination Act 2000. An integrated (not separate) text-only site should be provided reflecting the exact contents of the full site. The site must be compatible with common browsers including - MS Internet Explorer 6 & 7 - Mozilla Firefox (latest release version only) - Opera (latest release version only) - Apple Mac Safari (latest release version only). **Documentation** User guides for the eCommerce Solution must be provided in MS Word format or as online help files. ## Platform **Coding** The IT systems are Microsoft technology based.
