Distribute Automatic Updates

AUTOMATICALLY APPLY UPDATES/PATCHES FROM A CD/DVD. The final product will be used for the following, 1)Update client PC's software, hardware and drivers as needed. Some examples are, A)Software version/patch updates. B)Hardware version/patch updates. C)Driver updates. D)Add items to a "NEW SITES" IE Favorites folder. Appropriate backups should be made before updates are done. Udates would include the operating system as well as other select programs and hardware. There would need to be a mechanism for me to input the updates that would be included for a specific distribution. 2)Perform specific tasks on the PC saving output log files. A) Execute several Anti-virus and Spyware programs. This will be done on Safe Mode. B)Execute several System Maintenance and Cleansing programs. C)Execute several System Analysis programs. 3)Generate and send an Email back to me containing output logs along with other System information. 4) Generate a report showing ALL changes that have been made. This will need to be done in a way that a novice(?) user can understand. The output will be saved to their hardrive and an option to print should be offered. Before the process begins I want to make sure the PC is not connected to the Internet or Network. The output should be encrypted and password protected onto the CD/DVD.I am hoping to use WINRAR for this process. Beyond entering a password to begin the process I would like the execution to have as little user input as possible. At the same time a progress bar display would be beneficial to let the user know how the update is going. I would like to have them be able to view and or listen to an article(blog?) that I will write each month. Finally I want the CD/DVD to be updated in a way that after x amount of uses it would cease to function. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP WIndows 2000 Internet Explorer will be v5.0+
