DNS Manager Application

Hi, The windows service(vb.net please) must poll a SQL database on a configurable time interval and retrieve a list of domain names. I would like the service to call a stored procedure within the SQL database, so that we can modifiy the Stored procedure to return different result sets if required. For each domain name in the SQL database, the windows service has to communicate with a public? DNS server (also configurable.. its just an IP address) and copy the entire dns record from the public DNS server into a local private DNS server(The normal Windows 2003 DNS server). If the local private DNS already contains the DNS records, then it can update the records. Once completed it must update the SQL database and flag the record as being processed(just a bit field in the record), so that the record is not processed over and over. You must understand DNS server technology fully to be able to bid on this, so if you have no idea on how do commincate using DNS instructructions, then probably best not to bid. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The database is a Microsft SQL database. Probably SQL 2005 Express. The windows Server is to be done in VB.Net. Prefer vb.net 2005 but 03 is fine. The private DNS server is the standard windows 2003 DNS server. Thanks
