OS windows 2003 server 2 cpus 2.5 gb ram Need Program to use resources up at a specified rate and to a specified value. Should also be able to be kicked off from the command line somthing like this memory value a,value b value c, value d. Storing data would also be of value like time and % memory free same for cpu and disk. command line driven only is ok GUI optional but might be nice. perl,Vb or ? 1 - Memory? Fill available memory to specified value by specified time parameters? should be? ? ? ? ? a - fill memory up to (really down to ) this value ie 100k available ? ? ? ? b - in increments of kb ? ? ? ? c - delay between each fill ( b above ) ? ? ? d - exit program after this amount of time 2 - CPU Peg and hold cpu's at given percent ? ? ? ? a - cpu(s) %? ? ? ? b - % increment ie go up in usage by this number 2%, 3% etc ? ? ? c - delay between ramp up? % above ? ? ? d - exit program after this amount of time 3 - Disk? ? ? a - % ? ? b - % increment ? ? c - delay ? ? d? - exit program after this? amount of time and return disk to previous? value ? ? ?
