Asynchronous Observer Pattern for Socket connection and data recieving

I have a Form with a threaded listener (in an infinite loop) using asyncronous sockets to recieve data from remote Peers. I want to extract all of the socket and data recieving code from the form and place it into a seperate class that will become a referenced assembly used by both server and client apps. Using the Observer Pattern, I need to be able to notify the Main Form (via an event through an observer) when the data recieving is done, and pass the received "object" back to the Main Form through the event notification. I have the network code for reciving of incoming and outgoing data written which will need minor changes to fit model. Any improvements on the socket code would be helpful, but this project is based on returning the incoming object (currently a string containing xml) back to the main form or an subscribing object. The code will need to be documented in-line. I also would like a brief but concies Word doc describing the steps of the code and how it works. ** Sorry for the dealy on attaching code.
